BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION

Dr. Randal Pinkett has established himself as an entrepreneur, technologist, speaker, author, media personality, and expert in diversity, equity & inclusion. He is the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of BCT Partners. Its mission is to harness the power of diversity, insights, and innovation to Transform lives, accelerate equity, and create lasting change.

Entrepreneur
Dr. Pinkett has been a successful entrepreneur for over 20 years.  He was the founder of four previously successful companies and is currently the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of his fifth venture, BCT Partners. Dr. Pinkett was also the first and only African American to win the top honor on the hit reality television show, The Apprentice.

Tech & Data Innovator
Dr. Randal’s love of technology and science began with his belief that these two disciplines could help to solve many of the social issues that the world faces. His academic achievements started at Rutgers, where he completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Electrical Engineering. He then went on complete four more academic degrees including a Master of Science in Computer Science (M.Sc.) at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in the MIT Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) Program, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Laboratory.

Speaker, Author & Media Personality
Dr. Pinkett is a nationally recognized speaker and author who has addressed audiences nationwide, including corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, government officials, youth, and community leaders. In addition, he has appeared numerous times on networks such as MSNBC, CNN, and Fox Business News as an expert on topics ranging from business and politics to diversity and inclusion to technology and innovation.
